LOS ANGELES, CA – A video captured over the weekend shows two mini-bike riders colliding with an SUV after running a red light on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
The crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday when the riders, traveling at high speed, struck the side of a black Range Rover. Footage of the incident shows the SUV coming to a stop as more mini-bike riders arrived at the scene, some waving for help.
One of the injured riders was seen crawling away from the vehicle, while another remained on the ground. The SUV began to move forward again but quickly stopped as the group shouted. The video ends before the second fallen rider is seen getting up, though all involved eventually left the scene, according to an online post.
Beverly Hills police confirmed that a report was made and that an investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not provided details on whether citations were issued or if any of the riders sustained serious injuries.
The incident is the latest in a series of traffic violations involving mini-bikes in urban areas, raising concerns over road safety and enforcement. Videos of similar incidents have circulated on social media, often showing groups of riders weaving through traffic and ignoring signals.
Authorities have urged riders to follow traffic laws, warning that reckless behavior could lead to severe consequences. It remains unclear if any of those involved in Sunday’s crash will face legal action.
