LOS ANGELES, CA – Police are searching for a suspect who shot a woman multiple times as she sat in her car near downtown Los Angeles last month.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, in the 300 block of North Figueroa Street. The victim was waiting to pick up her brother from work when a man on a moped approached her vehicle and opened fire, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 30 and 40 years old, wearing a bright yellow vest, full face mask, and gloves. Authorities have not determined if the suspect and victim knew each other.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition.
