LOS ANGELES, CA – Authorities in Ventura County arrested two individuals and seized a significant arsenal of weapons, ammunition, and high-capacity magazines from a Camarillo storage unit and residence, following an investigation linked to an assault with a deadly weapon.
Detectives from the Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) began investigating the case in February after receiving information about a violent incident involving an assault weapon. Their probe quickly identified Jaqueline Randall as a suspect in the case. By early March, law enforcement had obtained and executed a search warrant for her residence, vehicle, and personal property.
On March 11, Randall was located and detained inside her vehicle, accompanied by another individual, identified as Timothy Creech. According to investigators, Creech is a convicted felon and legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. During the vehicle search, authorities found methamphetamine and several rounds of ammunition.
The search extended to Randall’s home, where detectives discovered a 9mm handgun, hundreds of rounds of ammunition in various calibers, and numerous high-capacity magazines for both rifles and pistols. During the operation, investigators learned that additional firearms and ammunition had been relocated to a nearby storage unit.
Upon executing a search warrant for the storage facility, law enforcement uncovered an extensive cache of weaponry. Among the 42 firearms recovered was an Armalite AR-50 anti-materiel rifle, chambered in .50 caliber Browning Machine Gun (BMG) — a powerful firearm typically designed for use against hardened targets such as vehicles and fortified structures. Also found were an Intratec TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol, an AK-47 style rifle equipped with a bayonet and collapsible stock, thousands of rounds of ammunition, including several hundred rounds of .50 caliber BMG, and hundreds of high-capacity magazines.
Authorities emphasized the destructive capacity of the anti-materiel rifle, which is engineered specifically to destroy armored or fortified targets and is rarely encountered in civilian possession.
Randall was arrested following the searches. Creech was also detained and could face charges related to possession of ammunition by a prohibited person. The investigation remains ongoing.
