LOS ANGELES, CA – The UCLA Police Department has issued a crime alert after a series of burglaries were reported at an off-campus apartment building near Sepulveda and National boulevards.
According to a statement released by authorities, three burglaries have occurred at the building over the past four days.
Investigators believe the suspect or suspects gained access by forcing entry through the building’s windows while residents were away. Items stolen include jewelry, cash, and clothing.
Authorities are urging students and residents in the area to remain vigilant, secure their homes, and report any suspicious activity to the UCLA Police Department.
