Authorities in Irvine arrested two men on Wednesday following the discovery of a brothel involved in sex trafficking. The arrests were made after officers responded to suspicious activity reports in the Cypress Village neighborhood.

The Irvine Police Department revealed that the arrests occurred after a Special Investigations Unit searched a home suspected of illegal activity. Officers uncovered a brothel and detained two suspects, identified as Qiyin Jiaqiyin, 51, of Irvine, and Xiaoming Ding, 36, of Whittier. Both men were subsequently booked into Orange County Jail on charges related to sex trafficking.
Victims Freed and Assisted
During the raid, authorities found three victims at the scene. The victims were offered assistance and left the premises following the intervention. No further details about their condition or the extent of their involvement have been released.
