LOS ANGELES, CA – Two stabbings within 20 minutes on Sunday night in Glendale left four people injured, three of whom were hospitalized, according to local authorities. Police are investigating whether road rage contributed to one of the incidents.
The first attack occurred at approximately 7:44 p.m. near Dryden Street and San Rafael Avenue. Preliminary reports indicate a street brawl involving an unspecified number of individuals, during which three people were stabbed. Police said the suspect fled the scene, and all three victims were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities have yet to release a description of the suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing. Investigators are examining whether road rage played a role in the altercation.
The second stabbing occurred shortly after, at around 8:03 p.m., in the 100 block of Windsor Road. Police said the incident began when a man, who may have been under the influence, lingered in the area and refused to leave after being asked by a group of men. A confrontation escalated, and the man allegedly stabbed one person before being detained by authorities.
The victim sustained minor injuries and declined to be transported to a hospital. Police have not disclosed further details about the altercation or the identity of the suspect, who remains in custody.
Both incidents are under active investigation as authorities work to determine any connections between the events and clarify the circumstances leading to the violence.
