LOS ANGELES, CA – A man suspected of human trafficking and kidnapping was arrested Thursday morning in a North Hollywood neighborhood after Los Angeles police established a perimeter to locate and detain the individual, officials said.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were dispatched just before 7:25 a.m. to the area near Cahuenga and Chandler boulevards following reports that a suspect wanted in connection with a trafficking and kidnapping investigation may be in the vicinity.
The arrest unfolded in a residential section of North Hollywood, prompting a heavy police response. Officers cordoned off several blocks and conducted a search operation before locating the suspect. He was taken into custody without incident. Aerial footage captured by local media showed the suspect being led away in handcuffs as officers maintained the perimeter.
