LOS ANGELES, CA – Authorities and loved ones are searching for a 21-year-old woman reported missing in Los Angeles County, and officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) identified the missing woman as Sara Powell, who was last seen on Christmas Day around 12:40 p.m. in the 15700 block of Fellowship Street in Valinda, a community in the San Gabriel Valley.
Powell’s possible destination may have been Baldwin Park, authorities said, but her whereabouts remain unknown.
Described as a white woman, Powell is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs approximately 162 pounds, and has blonde, shoulder-length wavy hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue leggings, and carrying a white handbag, according to investigators.
Officials say Powell requires medication, and her family has expressed growing concern for her safety and well-being.
The LASD Missing Persons Unit is leading the investigation and has urged the public to report any potential sightings or information about Powell’s location.
“We’re asking for the community’s help to bring Sara home safely,” authorities said in a statement.
