Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in an assault that took place in Santa Monica on September 22, 2024. The incident occurred near the 1400 block of Alley 5 at approximately 12:35 a.m., according to the Santa Monica Police Department.
Surveillance Footage Captures Suspect
Security cameras in the area captured footage of the suspect running barefoot on the sidewalk shortly after the assault. He was last seen fleeing eastbound on Santa Monica Boulevard towards 7th Street. Authorities have released a detailed description in hopes of identifying the individual.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a man between 25 and 35 years old. He has distinctive bleached blonde hair, a black beard, and tattoos covering both arms. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark t-shirt and shorts. Police are urging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information that could help locate him to come forward.
