A Santa Ana man has been taken into custody after police discovered his girlfriend dead in their shared residence. The suspect, Daniel Lynch, 33, is facing murder charges following the incident.
Police Discover Body at Santa Ana Home
Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD) officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of W. MacArthur Boulevard on October 16, responding to a report of a “suspicious death.” Upon arrival, officers found 29-year-old Amy Magpoc deceased in a bedroom. The Orange County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that Magpoc’s death was a homicide.
Suspect Identified and Arrested
Witnesses informed police that Lynch, who shared the home with Magpoc, was likely involved in the incident. This information led authorities to identify him as a prime suspect. Following an investigation, Lynch was located and arrested in San Bernardino without incident.
