LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies are searching for at least five suspects after a robbery at a 7-Eleven in Commerce led to a pursuit Friday morning, with the suspects later abandoning the vehicle in the area of an apartment complex.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the suspects were traveling in a black Hyundai when deputies began pursuing the vehicle shortly after 7 a.m.
The pursuit started in the Commerce area as deputies attempted to stop the vehicle in connection with the reported robbery.
About 30 minutes later, the suspects appeared to have abandoned the Hyundai near an apartment complex, according to the information provided by the Sheriff’s Department.
The suspects then fled on foot, prompting deputies to begin searching the surrounding area.
Search continues for at least five suspects
At least five people are being sought in connection with the robbery, although authorities have not publicly identified them or released detailed descriptions of each individual.
