Police Pursuit Ends in Collision with Pickup Truck
A 60-year-old woman was arrested on DUI charges after crashing her Tesla in Los Angeles during a police pursuit that lasted about 30 seconds. The chase ended at the intersection of Sherman and Lindley Avenue, where her vehicle collided with a Toyota pickup truck.
Scene Captured: Intoxicated Driver Taken into Custody
Video footage from the scene showed officers assisting the visibly intoxicated woman, who at times appeared unable to stand. Officers placed her in handcuffs and escorted her to a police squad car. Both vehicles sustained severe damage from the crash.
Minor Injuries Reported, Investigation Ongoing
The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Meanwhile, the Tesla driver faces charges of driving under the influence as investigations continue.
