Inglewood police and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man whose body was discovered in a dumpster over 30 years ago. The cold case dates back to February 19, 1991, when authorities found the victim’s remains partially hidden under trash in an alleyway near a residential area of Inglewood, California.
Description of the Victim
Investigators describe the victim as a white male, approximately 55 to 75 years old at the time of death. He stood 6 feet tall, weighed around 155 pounds, and had receding brown hair with a brown mustache. Distinctive features include surgical scars on his left chest and right back, possibly from a past traffic accident, as well as several moles on his abdomen.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear, and no suspects have been arrested in the decades-old case. Authorities hope that releasing details about the victim’s appearance and a unique belt he was wearing may jog someone’s memory and lead to his identification.
