LOS ANGELES, CA – Authorities are conducting a death investigation at Hollywood Burbank Airport after a body was discovered near a parking area early Wednesday morning, officials confirmed.
Airport representatives described the incident as a medical emergency that turned fatal.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene after the body was reported, with several police vehicles observed near the parking area. A canopy was set up to cover the body as investigators worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
The case has been turned over to the Burbank Police Department for further investigation, airport officials said.
