Authorities Respond to Shooting in Early Morning Hours
A tragic shooting at a house party in Victorville claimed the life of 23-year-old Tamariya Johnson early Saturday morning, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Coalinga Road at approximately 12:47 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
Victim Transported by Friends, Pronounced Dead at Hospital
Upon arrival, deputies spoke to party attendees who revealed that Johnson had been shot and transported to a hospital by friends before authorities reached the scene. Johnson was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigation Underway; Suspect Still Unidentified
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail has taken over the case and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting. Officials have not yet identified the suspect, who remains at large.
