LOS ANGELES, CA – Police are seeking assistance from the public in locating 14-year-old Promise Harvey, who left for school in South Los Angeles last week but never arrived.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Promise was last seen on the morning of Nov. 14 near the 300 block of 88th Place. Her family reported her missing the following morning at 6 a.m. after discovering she had not reached her school.
The LAPD has not disclosed which school Promise attends, but the 300 block of 88th Place is near Watts Learning Center Middle School and Mervyn M. Dymally High School.
Promise is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, tan pants, and black and blue shoes.
Anyone with information about Promise’s whereabouts is urged to contact the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. Calls outside of business hours can be directed to 1-800-527-3247.
