LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for the driver of a Dodge Charger involved in a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 57-year-old man in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of Terra Bella Street and Dorrington Avenue. According to an LAPD news release, the victim, described as a Hispanic male, was crossing Terra Bella Street when he was struck by a Dodge Charger traveling westbound at high speed.
The driver fled the scene without stopping to assist the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet identified the victim or released additional details about the suspect’s vehicle.
